Down by 10 points with 2:30 left in the game. We manage to get up to 78-81. They strategically foul with 2.7 seconds left in the game forcing us to make 2 foul shots which would lead to us losing by 1. On the second foul shots, the ball is backboarded and UCSB gets the rebound and gets it in the basket resulting in overtime. And the crowd goes wild! Evenly matched at overtime until the last minute when UCSB lead by 3. With a few seconds left on the clock, UNLV makes a 3 pointer leading us into a double overtime! During the second overtime, the refs started making alot of calls against UCSB resulting in us losing. I’m not even an avid basketball fan and I could tell there was some shady calls. Even though we lost, it was still my first and most epic basketball game! GAUCHOS! :O
